JD Brooks was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Clemson University on an athletic scholarship where he majored in Business Marketing. After college, he married his high school sweetheart, Brannon, and has lived with his two children (Barrett & Graham) in Charlotte for the last 14 years. JD loves watching the design process of Southern Lightscapes come to light!
